The Teratology
Society encourages students and postdoctoral fellows to submit an abstract for presentation
during the 2011 Annual Meeting. Benefits of submitting an abstract and having it
accepted for presentation are:
1)
All students and postdoctoral fellows who have their abstract accepted for
presentation are eligible for a Travel Award of $500. (Award application
is required; See
student/postdoctoral awards)
2)
All
accepted abstracts are published in the Society’s journal, Birth Defects Research Part A. (Late breaking abstracts are not published.)
3)
The
top student and postdoctoral abstracts, submitted for oral presentation, will be
assigned to the Student and Postdoctoral Platform session and compete for the Wilson Presentation Awards.
4)
Presenting your work at the Annual Meeting provides an
opportunity to interact with established scientists, researchers and policy makers.
