The
Loews Coronado Bay Resort features 439 guest rooms with bay, marina, pool or garden views.
This smoke-free property hosts 3 tennis courts, 3 outdoor swimming pools (including
an adult only section), a full service spa and direct access to the Silver Strand
State Beach. The waterfront property is located near attractions such as the San

The meeting rate is $199 for single/double occupancy. This rate is available
3 days before and 2 days after the meeting based upon availability. You may reserve

Reservation Deadlines and Requirements
You
must reserve your room at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort prior to May 24, 2011. All rates
are subject to applicable taxes, currently 8%. The room rates are based on single/double
occupancy. If there will be a third or fourth person in your room, there is an additional
charge of $20 per person per night plus tax. There is no charge for children under
18 years occupying the same room as their parents.
Reservations
can be made by calling toll free (800) 235-6397 or direct (619) 424-4000 and telling
the reservation office that you are a Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention meeting participant. Wheelchair
accessible rooms are available. Persons with special needs should inform the hotel
when making reservations.
Check-in
time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 NOON. There are fees associated with
a late check-out. Please discuss any late check-out arrangements you might need
when making your reservation or when you check into the hotel. The Loews Coronado
Bay Resort has a two-day advance cancellation policy.
Hotel Parking
The Loews Coronado Bay Resort offers both self parking and valet parking. Self parking is offered at $22 per day and valet parking is $28 per day. Prices are subject to change.

Stay Connected While You Travel
The Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention appreciates how important it is for attendees to stay connected to daily responsibilities while attending the meeting. The Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention will provide an Internet Café which will be open during the posted registration hours. The hotel provides complimentary wireless Internet access in all public areas for attendees who bring their own computers. Please note that the meeting rooms will not have internet access.
If you would like to access the Internet in your guest room, the Loews Coronado Bay Resort offers high-speed wireless Internet access for a daily rate of $12.95. The Loews is offering a 50% discount on guest room access for those who make their reservation in the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention room block.
