Special Registration Types

Guest Registration

Annual meeting registrants are welcome to register and bring a guest to the Welcome Reception, Poster Sessions, and Closing Celebration. There are two options for this:

  1. Full Guest Registration, which is $175, allows access to four evening events: Welcome Reception and Poster Session 1 (Sunday), Poster Session 2 (Monday), Poster Session 3 (Tuesday), and Closing Celebration (Wednesday). The guest will be issued a badge to be worn to the four evening events. Select this on the second registration screen and enter your guest’s name there.
  2. If the guest will only be accompanying the annual meeting registrant to the Closing Celebration, then a Closing Celebration ticket for the guest may be purchased for $75. Select this option on the first registration screen under Sessions.

Please contact bdrp@birthdefectsresearch.org with any questions about guests.

Joint Meeting Registration

Are you a member of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention and DNTS? If so, you are eligible for a reduced joint registration fee. The optional joint member registration fee allows members of both groups to register for both meetings at a reduced rate via one payment. Select the joint member registration fee on the registration form or when you register online. The Societies will validate the membership status of all registrants. Registrants who do not meet the membership requirements for both Societies will be responsible for paying the full fee for the separate meetings.

In addition to the optional joint registration fees, the organizations have continued to include a few joint sessions in this year’s meeting. Registrants of the respective meetings are welcome to attend the joint sessions and the sessions hosted by the organization for which they are registered.

Member Registration

The Member registration rate is only available to Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention members who have paid their dues through the current year. If you are unable to register at the member rate, it is possible that your dues payment has not been received. Please contact the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention headquarters to inquire about the status of your membership. If you prefer, you may pay your dues online and register for the event in the same transaction.

Emeritus Member Registration

Emeritus members are encouraged to participate in the meeting and the Education Courses. The Society is pleased to continue to offer reduced meeting registration rates and complimentary registration to the Education Courses to Emeritus members of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention. To qualify for this rate, you must be an approved Emeritus member of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention. For more information on Emeritus membership please contact the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention headquarters.
