Registration Information
Register for the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention Annual Meeting
The 66th Annual Meeting and Education Course will take place at the Hilton Washington DC National Mall The Wharf.
The streamlined 3-day meeting agenda begins at 5:30 pm EDT on Sunday, June 14, and concludes at 4:15 pm EDT on Wednesday, June 17.
The meeting is preceded by an optional Education Course starting at 2:00 pm EDT on Sunday, June 14. (Meeting registration is not required to attend the Education Course.)
Meeting and course registrants should book their hotel reservations by May 22 using the link provided in the housing section of the meeting website. The group rate is available starting three days before the meeting and extending three days afterwards, in the event you wish to extend your time in the Nation's Capital.

Evening Guest PassAccess for your guest(s) to two evening poster sessions and the awards reception. A guest pass is not required for children 12 and under, but they must always be accompanied by a registered adult. Meeting and Course Registration Refund Policy
The following policy applies to all cancellation requests:
- Requests for refunds must be received at BDRP Headquarters (HQ@BDRP.org) in writing.
- A $100 processing fee is charged if canceled before April 1.
- A 50% refund will be issued if canceled between April 2 and May 15.
- There will be no refunds after May 15.
Special Registration Types
Member Registration
The member registration rate is exclusively available to Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention members with current dues paid through the year of the meeting. If you are unable to register at the member rate, your dues payment may not have been received. Please log in to your Member Account Services profile to verify your membership status or to renew your dues.
The Society is pleased to continue to offer reduced meeting and course registration rates to Emeritus members of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention.
Student/Postdoctoral Fellow/Trainee Registration
This registration rate is available to all students, postdoctoral fellows, and other trainees who are members of BDRP or who have submitted a membership application. Please note that annual dues for Trainee Membership are just $20 and include electronic access to the Society's journal Birth Defects Research. Any student, postdoctoral fellow, or trainee who submits an abstract by the deadline (February 15) and is accepted for poster or platform presentation is eligible to apply for a Travel Award.
Joint Meeting Registration
Individuals who are members of both the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention and the Developmental Neurotoxicology Society (DNTS) may select the joint member registration fee to attend both organizations' meetings at a reduced rate via one payment.
One-Day Federal Government
A one-day federal employee rate is available. If you are a federal employee and plan to select this option, please indicate the day you will attend on your registration form.
